    Water collecting in fuel door

Are there supposed to be drains in the fuel door compartment? Mine is always full of water.

There is a drain, it exits via a tube that goes into the wheel well (you'll see it if you look behind the tire).

It's probably clogged with something, it's easiest to unclog them starting from the bottom end using something like a wire coat hanger or long thin screwdriver.

Be mindful of the potential for it to be a wasp nest/structure clogging it. I'd spray some wasp spray in it first.

      What he said.

At the top, the fuel door well drains at the bottom rear corner and the tube mentioned above attaches there. If you pull the carpet/liner from the driver side of the trunk you can see it. Don't bother doing that though, that stuff never seems to go back in as nicely as it was before messing with it, and it won't help with unclogging anyway.

I'll second the wire coat hanger idea if it's not an obvious clog at either end that can be quickly removed and flushed.

Got a source of compressed air? That usually makes it easier to clean flexible ducting/plumbing than trying to run some more-or-less solid object thru its length...
