A 17x7 with 0 offset would have 4" of backspacing. The 7" width is measured between the beads. With the wheels lips, you always add another inch. 3.5" BS would be a -.5" offset, or ~-12.5mm offset.

I ran these 17x9 D windows and they fit perfect. I ended up buying some 01-02 LX sport reproduction 17's and will end up running those instead.

Did yours come with centercaps? And were they all of the same finish. The first time I ordered my set (YEARS back) three came with the same finish inside and out with center caps. The forth had no center cap and was of a different finish all around. They fixed that quickly.

They all looked the same and all came with caps (though I plan on running Ford caps instead of the generic ones included). Oddly the label on them says for 01-09 Vics which obviously makes no sense.

yeah. I am looking for the ford caps but they appear to be about 50 a pop. Kinda holding me back.

is there a offset safe zone in how much higher or lower in mm you can go? i have 18x9 deep dish bullit wheels for my 2003 grand marquis, they are 30mm which is 15mm less than the stock. now they fit perfect on the back, but on the front the wheels are mildly duck footed and when i drive there is a slight pull to the right. the stock wheels give me no pull and fit dead straight. is that the offset, was my car possibly hit, or is that the backspacing. the tires dont rub or touch anything around corners or over bumps. id appreciate any thought or opinion.

You should double check clearance on your caliper, my 06 had Mustang California 18" bullitt wheels and I needed a 1/4 " spacer.
