    "Bright copper metallic" maybe?

    so the paint on my hood is faded all the way down to the metal and i started thinking "what color is my car"? can anyone help the tag on the door is completely faded. after doing some googling i guess its code 9c "bright copper metallic? what do yal think? also the car i am talking about is in the picture in my signature. oh and also a noob question, but how do you make the picture in the signature bigger?

    What year/make is the car? 9C seems to be "Bright Copper Metallic", as you say but let us know!

                Thanks for the comments. The sides look awesome but half the hood is faded to the metal. It looks so shiny cuz i put alot of the carnuba wax on it. im trying to find the right color and maybe even trying to paint a section myself.

                  A few years ago, I went to look at a GM coupe that was a similar colour for $500. The body and frame needed work, so I decided to keep my money.

                    Guys..... it wasnt "Bright copeer metallic. i just got the paint and painted the sample and it was way more orange then the car. again i cant see the code cuz the tag is gone. anybody know the code?

                      I went with the code you posted and that code WAS "bright copper metallic". So, either you have the incorrect code or your paint was mixed incorrectly.

                        Check with Marti Auto Works and have them run your VIN. It will have the correct paint code included with their basic report.

                          Your car is over 30 years old. The paint will never match or look the same. Amount of coats, primer/sealer color all will make the color look different as well.

                              no i think i posted the wrong code. again the code tag is really faded i think i can make out a nine. i got the painted and painted the sample card it was more orange and my car is more a brown. ill post the pictures as soon as i can. after looking a little more my next guess is "ford dessert metallic"
