    Whitestripe issue

    I got some tires for my Lincoln today. One of them appears to have damage:

    Is this just a scuff or part of the protective coating? If not, I'll get that tire replaced tomorrow.

    Looks like a scuff. Wouldn't really be able to tell until you scrub the stuff away. I'd suggest some steel wool on that area and see what happens.

      wash the blue off first... usually the tire shops was that off when they mount the tires anyhow.
