    The mystery w/s;-)

So there is a long strip of rubber/steel w/s that runs across the lower portion of the windshield, I believe it jams against the hood when closed.

    Question:
Is it really needed?..........mine is falling apart/dry rotted........have looked in all the usual places for a replacement.......:-(
Can I just go without the rubber strip, or is it needed?

If i'm not mistaken it is the same design as trunk weather stripping, just a lot shorter, so if you are desperate you can order the mustang trunk weather stripping and use that. I got lucky and found a mint car in the junkyard and just took every piece I could.

I would recommend having it, it helps keep rain and debris off the engine, among other things.

I have never called Pizza, Pizza...............I'll explain, where I come from we have always said............"going out for some pies, how many should I bring home?"............it was understood that "pie" was Pizza, and not Apple........why am I saying this??...........my goo-bah Sgandurra and I had a bit of a "discussion" as to what Italians call things.............after ten minutes 'we" just gave up and said.............."whatever"

Anyway, I have not had dinner, do not want to heat up the meatloaf, so off I go for a 'pie'..........garlick, anchovy, and pepperoni I promiss not to speak to anyone till tomorrow

Oh, Bob...............what do you want on your half of the 'pie'?
