Usually it's easiest to just buy the whole striker assembly. Usually about 12-13 bucks here at a parts store. Most usually have them in stock.

1990 MGM: $50 E7 heads, HO cam, Holley SysteMAX lower intake, HO upper intake with an Explorer TB. LSC ECM. Lincoln logs into stock dual exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. Wide ratio AOD, 2400 converter with a 3.08 one tire fire out back. Car is less slow now. Then there's the '92 Beater. Dual 2.25" exhaust with shiny tips. Rumbles nice. Super slow. Burns oil too.

Not sure about that. A LOT of Fords used the same ones. Or, just switch the ones from the '96. They'll work. there are basically two sizes. The one you have, and the one that doesn't fit. Pull one and match it. Some of them have a funny looking hook on the back side, but you don't need that. I think the replacements are all just the striker part, no hook.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

the dorman ones (there's 2 of them - one will fit) in the help section will work. I had to do that on the Mark when I first got it. I need to do that on the 93 as well. all the plastic is GONE.

I usually just order them from a mustang website. They will work for you. They come as the entire assembly.~David~

The L hook strikers are serviceable. The other ones are not. At least not that I've found. I was never able to separate the washer from the striker on my original strikers. I've since swapped them for a full set from a 91 Crown Vic and replaced the bushings on all of them.
