Need help identifying a part

Had the same issue with my '91 GMQ. All four of them were stripped out. I wonder if you can just mold some low temp plastic in the hole or fill it with something just to keep the screw in place?

Nylon or olastic trim nuts or some such, yes you can buy them new from a place that caters to fasteners. And I don't mean fastenal, they will look at you like you have some mystery fastener that never existed if it is not a common selling item.
Goto auveco.com and look through the online catalog, they have a guest login to browse. If you have an independant fastener store they most likely sell auveco products, so take the number you find in with you. Theres a billion styles, so pay attention to size, shape, angle and intended screw guage.
Before you install them on the car, run your screw into them, you'll find out why you should do that soon enough.
