I recently used a product named VLP made by Performix (Plastic-Dip) to seal up all the splits/cracks on my vinyl roof.
For the first week the areas looked clear. Now all the areas turned tan/brown????????

About Bleche Wite (not bleach, and not white - "Bleche Wite"): no longer under the Wesley's brand, it's now Black Magic. A lot of reports would suggest it's not as strong as it used to be, but it cleans up my white walls just fine. I would NOT use this product on a vinyl top or anything else though because it's corrosive and I really doubt your vinyl top will enjoy that much at all. The way it works is by basically stripping off a thin outer layer and if your top is in rough shape already it would only get worse.

Not to mention any overspray on your paint is going to be very regrettable if not cleaned off in seconds.

I tend to doubt the stains are just developing on their own, there's some environmental factor playing in...if the spots develop while car is in storage, maybe there's a rain leak into the building and the water comes in contact with something rusty before it drips down?

I guess it will "yellow" in the sun. Probably need to apply it and then paint over with plastidip to avoid the "spotting"

Well, after speakin gto the manager of the storage place (also a car guy) he said the the higher humidity in the unit in conjunction with the dust from teh pollun, trres, grass, concrete, nj dust, etc) can produce brownish pigment on a white vinyl roof

So I generously rubbed 303 all over the roof (twice) then parked it back, covered the roof in plastic and put damp rid in the unit!

          My fingers are crossed!
