im trying to get rims but i want to be sure i get ones that fit

My 2005 Sport came with Cobra wheels that were +30 offset(17x8) 255/50 tires.
They stuck out enough up front to make contact with the fenders on anything more than a small bump.
There are plenty of people using wheels with a similar offset and saying they like it, the softer suspension makes it more of an issue for an LX or Grand Marquis than with a Police Interceptor.
Stock offset is higher, I have used 18x9.5 and 19x9.5 +45 offset wheels with no problems.
