    Body lift points

I am ripping body off frame on 07'. Anyone have a diagram of where the body support points are? I tried the floor boards but they caved in.

    Rockers I believe.

Just get a big tractor or loader with some long forks and run them through the windows.
1990 MGM: $50 E7 heads, HO cam, Holley SysteMAX lower intake, HO upper intake with an Explorer TB. LSC ECM. Lincoln logs into stock dual exhaust. K&N drop in air filter. Wide ratio AOD, 2400 converter with a 3.08 one tire fire out back. Car is less slow now. Then there's the '92 Beater. Dual 2.25" exhaust with shiny tips. Rumbles nice. Super slow. Burns oil too.

Rockers eh? Not a bad idea. I have no access to a tractor. Need to rip the body off in the garage.

Yea, I believe the factory lifted the bodies by the rocker/pinch welds.

Ok thanks. This is actually good because it gives me more room. I didn't even think of using the rockers.

What would work best? A floor jack at each corner, with maybe a 2x4 or 4x4 between the jack and car body?

I thought about jacking body and frame up, then putting supports on all 4 corners and lowering the frame down until body rests on supports. Then just roll the frame out.

                That should work.

Or not. The rockers are about in line with the wheels.

                Denied.

How heavy is a rolling chassis? Any way to maybe jog it around and get it out?

Good question. I am not sure. The frame by itself could probably be yanked out but with axle and front suspension I bet it has some weight to it. I could probably move it around on a jack or something. The donor car, I don't really care if it gets damaged so I can support it pretty much anywhere just to yank the frame out. It's the good car that I am worried about.

Pinch welds. Just like an F150 when it's time for an engine.
