Damn! She looks awesome! Might I suggest some Raccoon eyes for the headlight bezels.. (Blacking the square headlight surrounding) Could probably use the wrap as as well instead of spray paint..

      It looks really good!
That hood ornament isn't all that bad to remove, it's been a while but iirc it's just a large nut underneath and unhooking the spring or something. Your results still look great though.

Did mine (hood ornament) years ago but think I simply removed the grill (on my '87) and then just removed the nut holding the part. I think he meant the spacing around the ornament was an issue. Not personally into the "matte black look" but that is some awesome work!!!

Thanks :o /) And if you guys are talking about the front headlight housing that's kind of semi-chrome, vinyl would not adhere well to that.. I'd have to end up painting it which I could do, I just haven't considered it honestly

One of the first mods I ever did to my old 91, I think it would look great on your car.

Looks very nice! I will definitely be doing that. I thought you meant that whole front assembly :p

Did you clear coat the body work? Or does vinyl wrap stick to primer well?

Found this site and wanted to see what you thought:

3M 2080 Gloss anthracite is a dark gray car vinyl wrap that will make your vehicle stand out from the crowd

Says 5'x12' (60sqft) is around $149.00. Gloss Anthracite was the color I was thinking of using.

The body wasn't clear coated and only paint primed in spots where I hit metal. It doesn't stick very well to sanded down bodies so that's why I future-shined it. Its risky business to wrap like this, which is why I used so much primer (when I say primer, I mean 3M Primer 94 designed for vinyl adherence). 60 square ft is enough for like... the hood and maybe a fender or two. Keep in mind I used 275 sq ft or 55ft in length for my car and it was perfect. I've used that anthracite before, it looks good but is super thin which is why you can wrap you're car in it for $50 less. The nice thing about black is the ink is heavier and in my experience has more conform ability and material to work with.

Thanks for the information! If I go this route, I'll hit you up with more questions. Again great looking job! You've inspired me to lean toward wrapping vs Plasti Dip.
