turning my 06 into "The Captain"

Had a great idea! with how large the badging is, if i could create or find Captain America Sheilds to replace or cover the Merc logos, i could base the entire customising of my vinyl topped panther to match. get creative with some led lights on the interior and exterior, filters over my opera lights and a few other enhancements could make it into a bad*** geek-mobile. Any ideas?
Alsoi, if anyone knows how to get to the Opera Lights under the Vinyl on the B-pillar, I would love the advice. even my mechanic is stumped.

sounds awesome to me. I think the bezel pops off to reveal screws on the b-pillar... but wait for someone to verify that.

I like the idea. as for covering the mercury logos... you'll just have to find out how large those are and find some vinyl or other stickers to put over them I would think. I can't find any metal shields of the general 3-4 inch size to use. for the smaller ones (2.25 inch or smaller)... there's this one:

    Pair:

    single:

as for filters on the b-pillars, not really needed, blues and reds shine fine through them, though I would leave them white as some municipalities really frown on blue/red marker lights that are not to DOT spec. The internal lights are all fair game though. Blue ground effect lighting might also be an idea, though that may be a bit too ricer-ish.

      Sounds like fun.
Needs a nice sounding exhaust too.
And you don't have to filter your fucking language here. We're totally awesome like that.
      Boom.
      Looking forward to more updates.

excellent links. i think i can get the emblem off the grill with a screw driver to pop the clips, and heat gun for the adhesive. If i can start with emblems, i think everything else can easily fall into place.. if i can't do red/white/blue opera lights, then i'll still replace them, cause they look yellow in daylight, and i know they make better looking ones.

I would leave the emblem on and just use a same size chrome vinyl sticker unless you can find a metal version that size, unless those are not smooth top like the ones on my car (all logos are clear plastic covered)

The Merc Badge is rounded on the face, on front and back, but I think they sit on a flat metal base, so i should be able to use adhesive to stick Shields on

that is if you can find them. I could only find those 2.25 inch ones.
