Is My 2001 Grand Marquis Still Worth It?

My 2001 Marquis is no doubt getting old, I love this car and have spend countless hours and $ on it, but as the years go on, the mileage builds up, and prices start to rack up I'm sad to think this... but, is it really worth it?

    Has about 116,500 miles
Burns oil slowly (slows it down even more with additives)
Rust in both fenders (in process of replacing)
Front shocks need to be replaced soon (not that big of a deal)
and a bit of rush on each quarter panel, but spreading

Other than those faults, still refuses to break down on me in it's 12 year run. At 116k miles and tacking on about 21 miles a day on weekdays, they add up fast. I have plans for a double-din stereo (I noticed the air duct s*** don't worry) some new speakers/subs, already finished with adding onto the exterior, but then comes the rust and the engine.

I've talked to many people about replacing the quarter panels on a Grand Marquis, some saying "impossible" other saying "can't get more difficult," assuming it is possible, and probably costing thousands of dollars, has anybody seen this or have actually done this? Some confirmation about the "impossible" part would suck, but be appreciated.
The undercarriage looks like any other older vehicle, rust here and there, brown and whatnot, but nothing major to be concerned about that I can see.

I'm not planning on getting a new vehicle for at least a couple years, in fact I'm not even capable of paying for one, but same with the repairs.
So I'll leave it up to you guys...

Is is worth the time and money to just repair and maintain one step at a time?
Or should I drive it til it gives up on me and move on to a new one in a few years?

I'll be checking this regularly when I can, feel free and please ask any questions and I'll be adding on when I think things need adding. My fate in your hands.

When the frame starts to get weak, part it out or sell it whole as-is. Your best bet is to find a southern Panther to replace this one.

      116,500 miles?....barely broke in yet.

My '98 is at 105K and I still consider it a 'new' car. Took care of the rust issues with Rust Reformer and solved the rust/corrosion issues around all the wheel lips with a set of eBay wheel well mouldings which I painted black to match the car. The car has mostly original paint which I carefully maintain and just prepped it for winter with some great Chemical Guys products. Will be getting some Fluid Film for the undercarriage. People think its a newer car.

I say keep what you have and fix 'er up!

I say keep driving it! Undercoat the hell out of the frame and you should be good, it sounds like your Grand Marquis has at least another 116k left in her

I just rolled 160k on a recent trip from SW Ohio to VA and back. Just spotted the first signs of rust in the fender of my 2000, and it really broke my heart. I can't see giving up on it now though. Quarter panel replacement on your own and on a budget is problematic. It certainly isn't impossible, but it isn't cheap.
