if its metal polish, I'd only be using it on shiny bits. Read the label too. Some metal polishes are not suitable for aluminum, and most of the trim on these cars is actually aluminum.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

so bumpers and mirrors... everything else is aluminum or chrome coated plastic (grill and headlight bezels). The wheel well trim is aluminum. The mirror housings may be as well. Magnets no stick there.
