blackout taillights and headlights

anyone else like this? have mine painted black. murder black. so illegal and wont pass inspection for this and tint and exhaust. but ive never once been pulled over. think if i was driving a honda shitbox rice car they would bother me?

Have you not considered the possibility of getting rear ended with an exceptionally dark tint?

I tinted the ones on my Marauder

my corners are tinted and had the tail tinted untill i was rearended.. BUT i was at a stop light and the girl behind wasnt paying attention. i did however switch back to glass bulbs, i had the LEDS in and werent as bright. i do plan to tint mine again

I have mine tinted darker than that. In retrospect it was a bad idea being that Im harrassed by police but I like the look. I usually qouted the dot law on tinted lights and get the pass. Idk if they do or not lol also good thing about oklahoma no state inspection so ride dirty if you like.

If im not mistaken you posted a question on a forum asking people if they had similar "blacked out" tail lights and if they were harrassed. I simply answered your question and gave you personal reference to my every day life and driving my car. Im not sure where you got out of my post my car is cooler than yours etc. I could really care less what color your lights are tinted but was rather answering the question to which you started a thread. Im not the type person who says oh my car is cooler than this guys blah blah blah I drive my car and modify it how I please because its my car and I do what I want to it. I look foward to hearing back from you.

Ever think if they were brighter it might have been just enough to notice.
I dont care much for dark tint on windows or lights. Yea it can look good. It does restrict vision. Sometimes just that lack of glint out of the corner of your eye can prevent an accedent. wINDOW TINT its sometimes nice to be able to see through the windows of a car in front to see whats going on past the vehicle in front. Certian times mostly day light cant even see tinted taillights / brake lights.

mine werent bad. you could still very easily see the red of teh plastic lens. its nowhere near some that ive seen. the LEDs i had were just cheap and crappy.

I believe you can buy the stuff at most parts stores. It comes in an aerosol can but I cant remember the name of it.

Rustoleum makes some now and it's available at Home Depot.
