I wanna purchase this kit to dress up the engine bay a bit when I get my new ford racing plug wires and MSD cap and rotor kit. This wire seperator kit sorta make the wires flow better, better than my current zip tie method. I would paint the plated steel just because that will rust in no time. My question is does anybody have this kit? Likes/dislikes?

I had a set like that, and found they were a huge pain in the ass. The clips kept falling off the supports. I've got something like these now:
if I had them to buy over again, I might go with these
If you're considering either of these, use the horizontal type. The vertical kind has a 90 degree bend at the mounting ears, which puts them right in the way of the AC compressor. I had to bend mine to make it fit. The horizontals would have just fit without the annoyance. These kind do make changing the plug wires something of a bitch, but how often do we really need to replace wires anyway?86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

This set makes it look like I can nut and bolt the clips to the supports if need be. What do you think?

Matter of fact I kinda like this one a lot and it is the horizontal type so it should all be kosher?

Mine are set the other way from Nate's, but they are the R&M brand ones if I remember right. the wires run on the top of the bracket instead of underneath, but same idea. They aren't really in the way of changing plugs, but it makes changing wires something of a pain in the ass. You have to undo all of those clamps, lay all the wires in, then re-assemble all of the clamps and adjust the wire positions so they fit right. Its all little screws and such too, so very easy to drop the hardware.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I ended up purchasing these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BSP-69520/?rtype=10
They are very nicely made. They just scratch VERY easily...no worries though as I am painting them with engine aluminum paint like many other bits in my engine bay. But before I painted them I went to mach them up. Good thing I had done so because the passengers side piece come into direct contact with the metal fuel line directly underneath the compressor for the air conditioner. I will look into notching the piece a bit so it can be used. Luckily I have a tap and die set with the correct tap for new threads for the fastener (screw that holds the top piece to the bottom) because it looks as if I may have to chop the factory location away to make everything work on the passengers side. Drivers side is a clear fit, no problems there.~David~
