Any special reason why? looks, improved underbody aerodynamics, general S&G ? Looks fairly cool, just curious if theres any other gain besides looks.

I did a home depot garden edging lip on the 4cyl mustang after I lowered it. Which effectively took the bottom of the bumper from 3.5" off the ground to 1.5" off the ground. I gained a consistant 2mpg on average. It was a fun expirement.

                Dear Panthers,
Since the Boulevard Cruiser spends more time than most offroad in sheep pastures, I can't lower it. I'd like to see if an engine pan will improve mileage (and power).

Seems that less air under the car would mean less air to help cool radiator, engine and front brakes. Just wondering.

Figured cooling should improve the way it sits but needs one piece finished. Have the material to finish it sometime later.

'bout time you posted some dam pictures.

Seriously, though, I've wanted an airdam like that on and off for at least 10 years.

Never had any problems with engine temps, they where the same before and after. As for the brakes I have no way of measuring the temps on them. But I always pushed it hard to the limits of the tires when playing in the twistys and never had any warping problems. So I can only assume they where fine as well.
