Best way to revive a faded but otherwise intact vinyl roof?

Anyone got any experience or of reviving a faded vinyl roof?

Mine's in good condition otherwise, just faded. If I give it a polish with Mr Sheen it comes up lovely but this only last until the rain washes the polish off again, which is everyday up here this year!

Give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will promptly forget that he once did not know, and proceed to call anyone who asks, a n00b and flame them on the boards for being stupid.

re-dye it. Someone either here, or lincolnsonline used vinyl dye to restore a faded but undamaged top. it looked pretty good when done too.

Yeah, I've been looking at vinyl dyes. Looks like the best way to go as the colour goes into the fabric instead of sitting on top.
          for the input
