80-89 Towncar and 80-83 Mark VI fit. Only difference is steel vs aluminum. I like aluminum for its drastically reduced weight and the lack of dancing on the highway, but they corrode on the inside. Check around the latch for rot problems. Much more difficult to repair the aluminum hoods if they are rotted.
Also, if you go with a steel hood, you will need a passenger side hinge so you have both hood shocks, and you'll need a pair of shocks specified for a steel hood. They are different than the dual shock aluminum hoods. Ditto if you're going from steel to aluminum. Steel shocks will cause the aluminum hood to bend around the hinges.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
