front door repair

      Looking pretty nice. Dumb question, though - how do you know the contours will line up properly after it's installed?

        didnt change contours just fixed rust and took moulding clip studs off so it should line up properly

          Ah. I assumed it'd end up a different shape any time filling and sanding is done, unless care is taken to block-sand the entire car or else to block-sand it to match the existing doors and fenders.

            Looks like a brand new door and I am not kidding. I have one in my basement that look just like it.

              did seam sealer on door when it dries gonna paint and start on puttig stuuf back on and the door panel?

                  not sure single stage or base coat/clear? kirker,ppg,Crossfire, Omni, Nason, Limco,U-Tech or Valspar.how much money will tell me.

                    got window regulator and motor in and window guide rod.i forgot where these arm rest hold down go anybody have a picture of door panel off

                      put Sound Deadening on door and started cleaning up door jams

                        You did the sound deadening very nice. I hope the door penal goes back on easy for you. I was thinking about doing it like that when I had my car apart but didnt want to risk having the door panel fight me when it came time to install it.

                          with the sound deadening the door panel should go back on easy i hope?.got more work on door jams and did some touch up on lower rocker panel. more pics
