    front door repair

    got a new winter project my front door is rotting out so i got a door from wagon man to fix up.

              WOW that's impressive! I haven't quite gotten my brain around how the sector gear assembly comes out in the first place. And then there's the issue of getting a hand inside the door without shredding it to bits .....

                got to cleaning the inside of the door wiped every thing down. got all dirt out and im gonna sand blast the inside bottom to see if there is no hidden rust there.

                  sandblasted inside door a found rust under sealent and on outside of door where the seamsealer was not much but just to be safe i removed it all and encapsulated it. ill later seamseal it all the way around

                      This door should last very long. Undercoating was a good idea. Something I wish I thought of doing while my car was apart.

                            more pics its to cold to do any more work on the door so i sprayed it with primer and gonna wait till it gets warmer.

                              Looks good. You gonna paint it and hang it on the car, or are you also repainting the whole car ?
