How do you remove a bumper cover on a box? I know there is the small rivets of whatever they are that holds it on, but how do you remove them? Are they a one time thing, that you have to replace, or are the re-usable? And if they are re-usable, how do you remove them without tearing them up? I found a replacement bumper for my car, and the bumper cover is perfect, So I thought I would get that, too...
The bumper is the higher trim level bumper, with the small vertical rubber "Bumper guard" looking things... but it will do for now, until I can find a low trim level car. The one I WAS going to get, of course got crushed... (The police package one, that I was getting loads of parts off of... which they said they WOULDN'T crush...) Of course, that one had the correct bumpers on it... In fact, they crushed EVERY one of the 88 thru 91 Crown vics! I was sooo pissed! I told the guy behind the counter they were idiots! So they just lost at least $50.00 for the bumper, and about $35.00 for the bumper cover, not to mention the other interior parts I still wanted off the car.
