    What to use to clean and protect vinyl top?

    I am looking into Blue Magic's Convertible Top Brightener ...Says it is also good for cars with vinyl tops. Anyone have any experience with this product or preferences to cleaning and protecting? I am open to anything as I cannot find much information elsewhere on this topic.

    Anyone know what to use to protect???

    I see he recommends 303 Protectants...why can;t that be sold locally???

    once again, i have to go for the 303 aerospace cleaner. its a tad bit more money than average products but, well worth it. it keeps the vinyl moist and is not messy/glossy. it just presserves the natural look. imo you should be using the 303 for your whole car, since you got alot of new rubber. but, if you cant get the stuff, miguires shine and luster protectant is good too.

      TC 303 is good stuff.

      Definitely go with that.

            okay I bought it. 34 bucks total...not bad. I intend to use it and there is no sense in fucking around. I hope I like it. Want to keep the car as fresh as possible.

              For future reference, you can buy that at most Marinas/ stores that sell boats and accessories. At least where I am from, I always see that stuff on the shelves in Marinas. They use it on the canvas covers to keep the water beading up, and the color from fading.

                  yea, thats how i found out about the stuff, we sell and use it at work. it wooks awsome on the jelcoat on boats.

                      yea! it works as agood wax but, its not the easiest thing to work with. i did a part of the hood on my work truck(never been waxed in ten years and white). cand it lasted 6 months un touched.

                          on paint, it requires much elbow grease, depending on paint condition

                              I use that on my interior. It cleans things up without that 'smeared in lard' look that some products produce.
