Hey guys I broke my tie rod the other day. It was my fault that I neglected the maintenance so car is going in storage for about a year till I finish my other project. Also I just wanted to know how do I remove the antenna because I want to cover the car with a tarp and that antenna is going to either bend or break so I rather just take it off thanks.

I usually use a 6" adjustable wrench and turn counterclockwise.
On the plus side, tie rod replacement is really easy.

yeah the fixed antenna just unthreads, the power one is somewhat more of a pain in the ass, though since its electric usually thats not required.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
