My car is a prior total.
It had hit a deer. I am baffled as to why hitting a deer with a 2000 Grand Marquis could total it, but that was it's deal. It looks to have needed a hood, header panel, a grill, and a pass side light and signal.
The folks that put it together did good on the panel alignment, but weren't good at paint. My hood and header had a real shitty finish that drove me nuts looking at it. They didn't have enough clear on and it looked like they painted over primer that had a finish sanding with 180 grit on a DA. Surprisingly it couldn't be captured on camera.
Over the last week, it had the hood and header panel painted and then since they looked so good, the rest of the car was buffed out.
The car is looking really awesome now. I have only had it for about 4 weeks now, but I am loving it.
I can do after pictures, but they aren't going to look much better than the befores that are in my Newbie post.
No offense to those with other colors, but I think that the Toreador Red is the best color on these cars.
