What autobody products do you like to use?

You know what kind of autobody fillers, putty's, glazes etc do yo like to use for any job you may have. I have just gotten into the autobody repair craze and I find it very gratifying when you can fix something up you normally would have to have sent out. I am just trying to learn a little bit more abut what people use, like to use and recommend.

Rage gold is a good filler, from what I've used it.

I use like rage gold and evercoat for the filler and the glaze I can't remember the brand of the glaze I like but it's called iceing it's wrote in pink letters on the front of the tube and it's 2 part. Stay away from single part glazing putty it's very prone to shrinking. For paint I have used just about everything but my favs are dupont ppg and sikkens.

I have used Bondo Professional Gold Body filler and had no complaints besides it being a bit thick to use. It requires a glazing putty to fill in the pin holes that arose after sanding/feathering out the filler but did the job just fine.

bondoglas/duraglas very nice stuff if you dont want moisure to come back through and bubble, however it is a bit harder to sand and you may have to go over it again to make sure you dont have pinholes. also glazing after that is good too. i prefer PPG paint.
for a rust free area like under the car por 15 is excellent too.

Bondo as a filler for dents... and small blemishes.

^ red putty.... use this after bodo to smooth bodo scratches from sanding. Most places skip this step... but it really helps. Wet sand with 300 grit.

^Prepsol... use it to clean off the car after wet sanding.. also wet down the area being worked after a coat of primer and it will gloss the primer up so you can check to see if you really did get everything out. If you didn't just sand the primer down and work the filler again. Saves you from painting the car and realizing you screwed something up.

^ mar glass.... Fiberglass filler... I use it for small quarter sized or smaller holes in floor pans, body etc. works great and is strong.

Also some sheet metal and a rivet gun work well too.

No offense man... but you just recommended some of the shittiest products I've ever used. The only one that probably is worth anything is the Prep-Sol. I've never used that specific product, but DuPont is pretty decent. I'll willingly use the other products if it's on a project that doesn't really matter too much - but only because my former job stocks MarGlas and Acryl-Red and I can get it quickly, easily, and exceedingly cheaply.

On a job I really care about - fuck that shit.

3rd (or 4th)-ing the Evercoat mentions. I love that shit. I've never used a product of theirs that wasn't great.

Yeah please no bashing of what others use. Everyone has different experiences with products and it can be said in a nicer way...such as I have never had any luck with those etc. I dont want people to feel they will get criticized for what they used.

Thanks for the info thus far guys keep it coming.
