    Glass scratch??

    I has a small scratch in my windshield....as in you can't see it unless you know it's there or the sun hits it just right. Problem is, it's dead-center at (my) eye-level......and when the suns out on my daily commute.....well you get the idea.....

    It's not deep and it's like 1/2" long or less. Is it possible to like...buff-out or something....Or will that make a distortion in the glass.

    It's not horribly annoying, and I can "live" with it, but if I could get rid of it that would be great.

    glass shops can buff out scratches, but the problem is that alot of times that area that has been buffed gets hazy......do you have comp coverage on the car? if you do, drive behind a triaxle dump truck for a mile or so and then call your insurance company lol

      They sell kits that are probably about what the pros use. It's just a polish/compound system, but for glass.

      Use a high-rpm drill and don't overheat the glass and you'll get good results. I haven't used the stuff myself, but I've seen good results from other first-time users.
