Got some pancake caps at the yard the other day and did some experimenting.
These are the low-profile caps that clip on the the collared lug nuts, same as the 'tall' CVPI/Ranger caps. These flat caps also came on some CVPI's and 2wd rangers.
They definitely don't fit over box front hubs, but all you need is a big brake swap to take care of that
I snapped a couple pics of what they look like on the 17" mopar steelies
and some regular 15" steelies. They leave some gap space on the 15" wheels, but you don't really notice until you are up close.
