Watchdog's 91 in the paint shop!

Not sure if he posted these... he is trying to get this car done for Chicagoland emergency Vehicle show in August....

His room mate working on the car, while Jason took these pre-paint photos...

This is pretty much what it will look like when it is done... Century, Fl. PD...

This is actually from our Police Dept here in Gulf Breeze, but at the time both departments had the exact same markings... Just a different light bar, like the one on my Crown Vic when it gets shown as Escambia County Sheriff, a Street Hawk....

The car is in the shop right now, and they are going to strip the car to bare metal, as the old paint job was cracked and "crazed"... So just sealing it wouldn't work too well... So the shop is giving him a good deal for the extra work...

It should look sharp... Can't wait for another 1991 p-72 car to be sporting around here!

Thanks Tom for posting those. I put them in my readers rides thread but it looks like they fell by the way side. First I took it to the same shop as Tom used but they wanted too much for all the work. Then I took it to Alle Kats Paint and Body here in Pensacola. They have a good rep and are a small shop, only one or two cars at a time. He will have the time to do it right, and for half the money. In addition to striping the car to bare metal, he will also fix two small dents in the roof, grind the A-pillar smooth where the city garage botched the spot light install, prime and paint.

The 91 project looks like it's coming together.

                Stay tuned.
