Rear window trim removal
How do you remove the outside rear window trim so that i can remove the the little bit of vinyl roof that is there?

No. Those just break, and break often. I was with Scott at a JY one time. I handed him a little flat head screw driver and a couple of minutes later he came back with a handful of unbroken ones. How he did it? I will never know. I just broke most of the ones I tried removing.~David~

Those trim tools are pretty easily cut out of flat stock and bent up. Save yourself the money and have the "cool" (by which I mean nerd) factor of having a home-made tool.

I just used a flat-head screwdriver for mine too
didn't break any either... they make a sickening POP sound when they release. When re-installing, put the clip in first, and you have to push HARD to get it to snap all the way back into place, or the trim wont sit all the way in.
I replaced my colored trim with chrome

I just stuck it in there between the top and the trim and pried away from the glass until you hear an 'omg i just broke something' caliber 'pop'
