I am a body man and I hate the fact that people are afraid of polyester filler on cars, and yes bondo is a brand name and it sucks, kinda like vice grips but all locking pliers are vice grips haha. Anyway dont be scared of the filler if the body is repaired correctly, and prepped correctly before the mud is put on it shouldnt be a problem. Every body shop I have ever worked at gives a lifetime warranty on body work and paint, if that tells you anything. Also that shouldnt be any problem at all the fix, and the price sounds very reasonable, much cheaper than the shop I work at would be lol.

Just a thought you might try a resto shop. A typical chop shop insurance repair place will pull it and fill it but from what I can see, this looks perfectly savable WITHOUT pulling it, and with minimal filler. I bet a GOOD body man can hammer and dolly it out to 95% with a very light skim of filler.2009 Ford Escape Manual (Hers)

most shops have a stud welder for pulling dents........in the old days they used to drill holes and use a slidehammer with sheetmetal screws.......i pulled some pretty large dents out of gmgt's vic and used minimal body filler
