    Which car should receive bodywork first...

    The Merc will be driven again this winter and will need attention before the Jan '10 inspection. The Ford will be going into storage in late October until May '10.

    '93 Grand Marquis (rocker panels have rusted through)
    '90 Crown Victoria (surface rust around wheel wells)
    '79 Continental Town Car
    '90 Crown Victoria LTD
    '94 Crown Victoria

          The way it used to work here is if the metal has rusted through so there was an actual hole, it needed to be patched.

            the 90. wheel wells can be a bitch to fix if you let them go, rocker panels are always gonna be relatively easy.

            85 4 door 351 Civi Crown Victoria - Summer daily driver, sleeper in the making, and wildly inappropriate autocross machine
            160KMs 600cfm holley, shorty headers, 2.5" catted exhaust, 255/295 tires, cop shocks, cop swaybars, underdrive pulley, 2.73L gears.
            waiting for install: 3.27's, Poly bushings, boxed rear arms, 2500 stall converter, ported e7's, etc

            06 Mazda 3 hatch 2.3L 5AT (winter beater that cost more than my summer car)

              Surface rust first. It may not have any holes so you will save yourself a panel replacement. The rockers are already rusted on the GM, so either way you are looking at replacement.
