Alum. rim & RWL/WW/BW tire restoration

Wheels look like ass? Here's a sure fire way to get them looking like brand freakin' new.

    Here's what you need:
    1. Armor All Oximagic Carpet & Upholstery cleaner or Armor All Upholstery & Vinyl cleaner
    2. 303 Aerospace Protectant
    3. Stiff bristled brush
    4. Towel
    5. NEVR DULL metal poilsh
    6. Microfiber towel

Tires: Soak the tire with the Armor All and wipe down the flat areas with the towel. Follow that by re-soaking the RWL or WW and scrub like a s.o.b. with the bristle brush. Wipe away excess Armor All cleaner. Apply a healthy amount of 303 Protectant to sidewalls and spread with towel. 303 Protectant outlasts any of those greasy "tire shine" products. It also makes the tires look like new, not that fake vaseline look.

Rims: Work 'em over with a few wads of NEVR DULL and buff with microfiber towel. If you can't handle that ... go run around with a scissors in your hand.

For proof of the preceeding procedure, I present exhibits Before and After. Note that the tires were not scrubbed thoroughly since installation, roughly 4 years ago.

Yay, a way to not have that horrible greasy tire shine look and still have nice looking tires.
