    Photoshoppers please help

I finally figured out how to download photos from my phone. (YAY!!) I was looking at the vinyl roof on the Merc, and it has seen better days. I'm thinking of slick topping it. Could someone please photoshop my car, so I can get an idea as to where I'm going? I would also appreciate it if there were different variations.

Scott,if you look at the roof trim, it looks like it is held in by the outer facing pin, and plastic clip set up, as opposed to the nut/bolt set up used on the Crown Vic. I'm keeping the coach lights, but am up in the air with a few other details. I'm working on the following options: no roof trim with the chrome rear window trim from the Crown Vic, leaving the current trim, leaving the roof trim using the chrome c pillar and window trim from a Crown Vic, or just using the Crown Vic c pillar and window trim, and doing away with the roof trim. I'm still also debating whether or not to use the GRAND MARQUIS emblems on the c pillars.

When I get ready to slicktop my Merc, which will be happening this summer, I'm gonna be deleting the Roof Trim and C-Pillar Bottom Trim, but keeping the Grand Marquis C-pillar emblems and B-pillar Coach Lights. Then installing the rear window Chrome Trim from a LTD CV cop car. Which I already have a mint set on hand, Major thx to Tiggie for that!

Yea, I noticed awhile back that the GMQ trim is shaped differently, so I took the bottom Chrome Piece from the cop car and laid it on top of the stock GMQ trim, and the trim retaining holes do line up. Which means it will fit just the same, it just won't match the contours of the Deck Lid exactly like the stock trim does. Still worth it to have the chrome, instead of the Vinyl Textured body color piece.

if you rub hard enough (no homo) that piece is bright trim underneath the coating. You do great work and i am sure you can make it nice.

                  Thanks Mang, I appreciate that.

Good Info! I never knew that piece was bright under the coating. I think I'm gonna give it a try on my stock GM bottom rear window trim piece, and use the other 3 pieces from the cop car.

YES I DO!!!! Now that I have that out of my system, I'm trying to get that photoshop of my different options, so that I have a definite direction. And before any of you wiseguys start, I've been told to go THAT direction for years!!!! Probably long before most of you were born. LOL

Alright, guys. I think I might have a plan of attack here, but I need to know something. The lower rear window trim is GM only. I was wondering if it ever came out as a chrome/polished piece. The reason I'm asking is, I'm looking to go for the P72 look, as on the unmarked/detectives cars of the day. Whereas the rear trim was chrome/polished, with the matching trim going from the lower window around the "C" pillar, to the rear door. any thoughts, and/or comments, please.
