    I like the idea of Town Car doorhandles. I once thought of trying to install complete Town Car doors, until I realized that they would require too much cutting and dicing to be practical.

      I know this won't be a concern....but if you install shaved handles....it won't be dragstrip-legal.

          At a great number of tracks, yes. Unless your car is running at speeds/times that would require a full cage(and therefore, non-funtioning doors) they need to be able to open your car door from the outside without having to search for a hidden knob/cable. It's a safety thing.

          Of course some tracks don't really care, but most of them do.
