To shave or not to shave

I've been thinking about shaving the door handles on the car. Any thoughts, or criticisms? Obviously this a down the road project as the car has other needs first. My thinking is that the paint is shot, so if I do it I'll do it before the gets painted. I will be farming out the work as I will have them wire up an alarm/keyless entry system. Might as well get it all done at once so I'm not fucking with multiple remotes and multiple wiring setups.

I'd much sooner adapt custom door handles than try to manage without any. That's way too much work and $$$$ just to make your car look funny.

You usually route a hidden braided steel pull cable or they make push buttons with locks on them like a truck tool box to manualy open the door.

Only if you're gonna shave more stuff, would be kinda cool. I just wouldn't want all the work but if you can do it more power to ya!

                      No.

Since I'll be adding a boomerang antenna, I'll be shaving the power antenna. Fuckin' things broke anyhow. It's floppier than Burt Reynolds hopped up on Viagra.

I would not shave them because the box LTD has some large slab sides and the missing door handles would just make them look huge.
