Man, you are motivated!
If you want a good low-dollar rust converter, get the gel stuff in the bottle. Works really well. I personally prefer the brush on stuff.1984 Ford Crown Vic LTD, The Murphmobile (RIP)

Re-installing a tailgate sucks. Getting the alignment and all just right is a chore.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I am sure there is a thread about this somewhere and i did ask a long while ago, but...Has anyone found a replacement for that rubber seal that the tailgate window rides up against? i have searched every junk yard around me for a decent one and all of them have been cracked worse than mine. I did manage to find the trim that the window seats against though.

I'm thinking we're gonna have to start buying generic weather strip from JC Whitney or someplace like that and making our own. I know thats about the only solution for the window dew wipes, I can't imagine wagon rear dew wipes being any more available.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

The Bronco one is a lot wider. It might be easier to just remove the old staples holding the dead dew wipe material on, and staple new material to the original metal trim. I'm also thinking the contour of the bronco piece may be wrong.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
