can i just put a newer header panel on my car with matching hood of course like this???????

if there are no retarted gaps this may be the route i decide to go, because i like how my bumber looks (even thought it is crooked).

yea, true, but after the cars turns 25, i wanna drop on a roots type blower and turn to a carb (screw all of you who dislike the carbs) and some new heads and cam and shit. that would be some great cold air induction for a carb, but i am afraid the hood will take off on me or worse totally destroy the windshield and me.

                  I wouldn't worry about that.

I would worry about the hideously retarded gap though, but maybe that's just me.
