My car is getting that after I'm finished painting it. My Town Car has polished stainless steel panels along the entire lower portion of the body that I put on. Underneath those water likes to pool up and corrode the doors/rocker panels. I am going to be undercoating those very heavily before putting the panels back on so as to prevent this sort of thing from happening to my poor car. The undercoating won't be visible by anyone from any angle, but it'll protect all that sexy metal.

Well here's GOOD NEWS : Wayne county reports HIGH salt prices will effect their usage.

Heyheyhey! So I guess they'll use sand or something instead like they do in Alaska?

Be nice if Detroit proper actually plowed their streets ...

After my repaint I coated everything under the trim 3x with Por15. My Dad's new truck has some that 3m clear stuff on rocker area and it doesn't really detract from the paint at all. I think it'd be worth using it in damage prone areas.
