    paint????

    ok this is what my car look like but mine needs a paint job same color same color top but heres what iam think of doing iam think about painting my car black leave the top gray like in the pic then black the grill and head light bezels painting the fake wood in the car black and change the carpet ro black also get a black front and back dash pad. or should i repaint the same color but black out the things i have said??????

    just throwing another idea out there, you could repaint the car the same then paint the bezels and grill the same color as the rest of the body (maybe even slicktop if the vinyl isnt too good)

      Id spend the money that you would spend on replacing every thing to change the color on a high quality job of the original color.

        yea i though of painting the grill and headlight bezels the same color before not sure if ill like that thou. the two dash pads iam getting ae only 30 bucks so the price isnt to bad. one think iam trying to figure out is what kind of baint to us to cover the fake plasic wood on the dash and doors

          I used plain old krylon on my fake wood in my 87. Worked fine. There is krylon fusion that works great for plastic, the dash pads you'd want spray dye- duplicolor makes dash paint....

          I like the stock color, I dunno about blackouts, but a dark grey would look good- like the anthracite on the stock bullitt wheels.

            For the dash pads use SEM.... It is the best for vinyl dashes.... Just make sure you get the surface prep stuff that goes with it... it cleans and preps the surface.... Excellent stuff... works on the plastic trim stuff too... and works much better... as it is flexable,,, doesn't crack or peel as long as you prep it right....

              the dash think iam talk about is something i can order from auto zone for 30buck but painting is a cheaper way
