    Custom headlight bezels

Today I got a little bit creative and made a set of custom headlight bezels, what i did was drill some holes and slid some alauminum bars in, i buffed up the bars to give them some shine, after i put them in place i put some 2 part epoxy on them in the back side to hold them in place,, im pretty pleased to how it turnd out..

You know what a phantom grille is? His bezels ain't nothing like those, if they're street legal so is his creation.

I know. The MTO bit is just an inside joke.

                Looks different...

Down here, any obstruction to a light is illegal. Including clear headlight covers.

Damn, they're neat lookin'. I like 'em!

Mike, what about them pipe bumpers and brush gaurds that put little bars in front of the lights? That means that they'd be illegal too?

Prolly, it's all about enforcement though. Most of the brushguards/pushbars are open in front of the lights though for that reason.

I've seen a few Explorers and all running around that have the thin bars, much like Dave's, going over the lights. I never even thought that they'd be illegal.

Well, technically anything the width of the grille but a foot ahead of it will be a light obstruction, which automatically means a damn near any decent pushbard/brushguard is illegal... like you said tho, it all depends on how anal the cop is and ho bad his/her day has been so far.
