The standard Duplicolor RC Clear is compatible with all base coats. Seems to be decent quality stuff judging from the few times I have used it. Have never tried any other RC Clear, since most of the cc'ing I do is with a paint gun and with very expensive clearcoat.

I've used both the Duplicolor Enamel Clear, and the Clear wheel coating, back when I polished my turbines and re-cleared them. The High Performance Wheel Coating seems to be a little better quality, and more resistant to chipping. Since you are gonna be clearing a Front Bumper which will be subject to road debris/stones, I would go with the Clear wheel coating, as it should fair a little better under more harsh conditions.

OK, cool. I'll see about getting some clear wheel paint later today. Need to get the clear layer built up so I can wetsand and buff and get the thing smooth. If this stuff doesn't dissolve right through the clear Acrylic Enamel that's on there already (as the Plasti-Kote stuff was trying to do), I should be all set!2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!
