    Passenger door adjustment

    anyone know where i can get a good tutoral? it seems to be hitting the fender and im too poor to have someone do it for me.

    Door alignment is like changing oil in that it's so easy I can't understand how anyone would pay somebody to do it.

    Before you make any adjustments, check the condition of the striker bushing and the hinge pin/hinge bushings.

    After that, please refer to my drawing:

        lol @ CSJ,

        He forgot to mention that you have to eather Pull the Fender or the Door off on whatever side of the car you are working on, to get to the front door hinge bolts on the A-pillar, which moves the Door Up/Down and Front/Back.

        I like to do things the right way (hard way), so if it was me I would be pulling the entire front end off, and adjusting both Front Door's at the same time, so that the body lines line up straight and the door closes correctly.

        But, before you go to all that trouble, check the hinge pins and bushings. If they are too far gone no amount of adjustment will be able to correct it.

          They make pin replacement kits for our cars. If that's the case.
