anybody here done it? before new fenders go on, i plan on putting por 15 on their backsides to prevent the eventual inevitabkle. i was also planning on putting that stuff in the trunkwell

I would use bedlinner coating. Easier to apply, and you can get it in a few colors at walletworld. When you put it on get some used bolt and spray it on, then take them off, it'll fuck up everything if you don't. Make sure it's not an unpainted surface though.

Thats right! POR is not to be used over bare or painted metal. House of Kolor makes an excellent bare metal primer. They also make excellent epoxy primers similar to PPG's DP line, which is also great primer it just costs twice as much. Also, Check out Eastwoods Rust Encapsulator paint. Sounds like its alot better than POR.1988 Ford Mustang coupe: 4cyl conversion, 5spd, 600cfm holley, roller rockers, headers, 2.5\" mac exhaust, alum. driveshaft, HD clutch, poor mans posi, blah blah blah.....
