    Silverstars

Here are a few pics to show you all the difference from Silverstars to standards with the turn signal bulbs.

Standard on the passenger, Silverstar on the driver.

    Then standard...

    And Silverstar...

      ready for installation!!

So I finished painting the bezels today, and the grille is drying in the garage... I said fuck it and decided to paint 'em anyway, I just want them on there!!

So here it is... custom black clear parking lamps installed on bezels with fresh black paint.

I never have taken any good shots of my corner bezels, so now you can also see better pictures of how I chose on painting the inserts black.

Pics by end of week with them installed on car! (me hopes)

a standard white bulb glows with a yellow tint. only time it looks white is when the signal is on. i have swapped out ambers for white before and no trouble. i still say find some LEDs you could use for signals since they are clear except in use.

I went to go work on it today... but ran into technical difficulties. Went to replace the low beams with some Silverstars... and one of them wasn't as bright as the other!

So now I've gotta transfer one over from a different store so I can swap 'em out.

If it's warmer out next week I'll install them... but it's been in the teens and there's been lots of snow and freezing rain most of the week. So the projects been at a stand still, unfortunately.

I wanna get those damn things on! Oh, and not to mention, the Deuce is sorta stuck in the driveway, lol. Aint moving.

Some pics of the new lights (and old ones)...

Picked up a new set of low beams, one of the old one Sylvania Cool Blue's had quite a bit of condensation. Going with Sylvania Silverstars for the low beams instead, much brighter than the cool blues. They're one step below HID bulbs. You can see the color the bulb gives off where I zoomed in on it.

I removed the high beams and repainted behind all the headlights. This was due to the fact that the bottom of the assembly on the Silverstars is clear. While I was at it, took close up pictures of the Cool Blues I have for the high beams.

Tried to get some good pictures of the fogs behind the grille too...
