    Repainting Rims

When the weather gets warmer I want to repaint my rims, some have rust on them and others the paint isn't too good. They are going to be painted gloss black. My question is how should I go about doing this? The tire will still be on each rim so i don't want to damage them with a paint stripper. Should I just sand it down real well and the rub it down with some alcohol, then paint it? Or use some rustolium primer and then paint? Any ideas? Thanks

You could get a set of wheel maskers to protect the tires.

Rustoleum works great on wheels. That's what we use on our old '79 with the steelies.
