Your local metal shop will be able to make some, or you can got to a junkyard.

i would rather cut them out since they collect debris anyway.

cut em out and it'll leave a hole all the way up the a,b,c pillars...Not a good idea, if they are soild they dont collect debris.

JC Whitney carries a lot oddball patch panels, you might check with them. Quality usually sucks, though. Otherwise, junkyard like the others said.

On teh wagon, I scuffed them a little, bondo'd the thin spots, and reinstalled the moulding after paint . Not recommended for a car that you actually want to be nice, though.

Cut it out, weld a panel in, bondo it smooth.

Just make a patch. It isnt that hard, just time consuming. Nothing a vice, tin snips and some hammers and dollies cant make. That is how I make mine when I have to do rust repair in the shop.

All I'd add was to make sure you use a decent filler like USC All-Metal over the patch, it's stronger and offers greater corrosion resistance.

its part of the body as far as I'm aware, they aren't really "put on" in a traditional way with nuts and bolts and such. There probably is a weld somewhere involved but thats really it.

Dunno if this will help you any since mine isn't a wagon but it should be relatively similar.
