Mine is retained by a big bolt in the center (I think). I can use the wheel puller?

I've never removed a wheel without a puller ('79, '87, whatever). Especially if it's a balancer puller, which gives different options for attaching it to the wheel or balancer or whatever (3 bolt or 2 bolt configuration). Be prepared to run to the hardware store for different-sized bolts to use with the puller - don't remember which thread pitch I used to pull a Grant wheel from a '68 GT, but it was definitely a fine-thread bolt that fit.

I thought it was that way, too. Then I when to the junkyard one day and found a nice tan steering wheel attached with the bolt. I got excited and pulled it. About halfway home I realized the steering wheel had the round/flat sides thing (and my '82 is splined). It was late '85 model. Since I paid $25 for the wheel, I was a little upset that it was useless to me .
