cant read the code off the car...anyone have the code?

Paintscratch.com lists the color code for 1987 Mercury - Driftwood Metallic Clearcoat as 5B. Dupont has a listing for Driftwood Effect as 5B even though the name is slightly different. If I were you I'd save myself some trouble, pop the seat back, and very very carefully look at the build sheet and you'll get the correct color code.sigpic

had to have the hood and header panel repainted the paint didnt survive the polishing of the grafitti so well. have to see the pics in reader rides now looks great! i will have to paint the rest of the car soon cause the old paint is very faded .Originally posted by 86GmLsCoupe View PostComment
