I have the best treatment for your vinyl top. Get some mink oil from the shoe department. Mink Oil works excellent as a conditioner, the vinyl gets very moisturized after only a few treatments. I also fine STP Original protectant to work very well at giving it a great shine. I haven't had very good results using amor all, but the STP is great.

Mother's Vinyl protectant and conditioner works fine for me, I used it on both interior and exterior of the car. I actually put it on once this summer, then drove for like 20 hours in heavy rain and crazy sunshine and dust, when I got back shine was still there despite all the crap the car had to go through.
